I’ve got a keyless Flute as a present, it doesn’t look any of those I’ve found online, and I can’t find its fingering chart …
It’s got a hole for blowing, one for the left thumb (on its lower side), 7 holes on its upper side, 4 close together just above the thumb hole, hole 5 and 7 are somewhat different, each is actually 2 very close small holes which are similar in size to one normal hole ..
so, it’s an 8-holed keyless flute, I guess!
can anybody help me with finding the fingering chart of such flute ?
Thank you
Sounds somewhat like a chromatic recorder system, but not really. Some makers of wooden flutes make different kinds of keyless chromatic flutes. Have you tried out playing a recorder chart?
What material is it made of? How big is it, in terms of lenght and bore size? One section or many different parts? Is it new or used? Any idea of how old it is?
It’s Plastic, it’s new and it’s almost 35 cms long.
it’s not one section, actually the blowing hole (at its very front) is like that of a tin whistle, the first six holes and the thumb one are on one section, the last one (which looks like the 5th) is on a beveled section, and it has a hole at the other side of the blowing one, but I don’t think it has any uses.
no, I didn’t try the recorder chart, but I’ll.
Hey Crom, did you see the whistle board when I admitted to cross-fippling? I got pretty well recived, it must be my huge charisma affecting all thouse who stand against us…
