Hi all, I’m actually learning the first tune of “Beauty Spot”, the track #14 on Solas Cd , “Reunion”… it’s a slow air… I would like to know if it’s a traditional tune or if it’s composed by Solas… Anyone knows that ?
Actually, it’s not a slow air at all. It’s a slow setting of the reel O’Dowd’s, and related to the familiar “Dowd’s No. 9” associated with Sligo fiddler John O’Dowd.
