There’s more locked threads on page one than I’ve ever seen in any other forum, ever. :confused:

It has always been a topic of contention between folk whether or not non-UP topics or responses should be allowed on that forum. In recent months I have felt very “damned if I do or damned if I don’t” by allowing them… or not.

I have decided that I am fed up with trying to please everyone, and that it was time to please myself and set rules regarding the issue.

I have neither the will nor the inclination to continue dealing with that stuff. That is all.

Good on you. I for one am estatic that moderation is moving this direction.

I’m not as estatic as you about it, I didn’t want to play the heavy, but I really haven’t been left with an awful lot of choices… so I made one.
