The cup is made from metal, brass in this case and it’s plugged when using the bag on a practice set. When you upgrade to a half set (or more) you remove the plug and insert the wooden stock that holds the drones (and optional regulators)
By doing it this way, you can easily upgrade without having to send the bag back to the maker to cut-in (tie in) the drone stock.
That set sold pretty fast.. didn’t it?
That was one of the “newly redesigned” sets from Mid-East mfr…exported from Pakistan. I’d be interested to learn how well they have improved. Anyone?
