Anyone know?
It’s denotes a deconstructivist perspective of postmodernist nihilistic analyses of constructivism and the postsemantic paradigm of consensus.
Of course.

This is about as clear an explanation as can be offered.

From the Chiff & Fipple FAQ:
Q: How about “PostStructural”? You call it “Chiff & Fipple: The PostStructural Tinwhistle Internet Experience”
A: Right.
Q: What does that mean?
A: What does what mean?
Q: “PostStructural”.
A: Well, uh, you know what they say: If you have to ask, you don’t know. Hehehe.
Q: WHAT?
A: Well…“poststructural,” of course, means, uh, “after ‘structural’.” Or after the structure. Let’s move on.
Q: You don’t know do you?
A: No. I just thought it sounded kinda funny and pretentious. That’s what I’m about mostly.
I knew it.
That sentence means the same thing when read backwards - try it!

darn it all. And here I thought I was being so sly and tricky (or tricksy, as GaryKelly would say)
At first I thought it was just a clever way of getting stst together in one word. Then I thought it was a clever way of forming a word that is only properly pronounceable if said slowly by an extremely sober and articulate person. Before that I thought it was something to do with the way stand-alone pillar-boxes are designed. ![]()

Real poststructuralists deny “meaning” itself. All “meaning” is transitory, provisional, and arbitrary.
POst structuralism is what happens when dadaists take over the academy and utter straight-faced nonsense.

maybe if you get it translated into mandarin and then welsh and then back to english and then american it will mean . . . something.
And here I thought it referred to tweaking whistles (poststructural = after the
whistle is originally built)… Kinda like using “after-market” parts on your car.
I kind of miss the term I had to retire in 2000, “The PreMillennial Tinwhistle Experience.”

Ah… a new catagory for eBay whistle sales… “after-market” - for the whole gammut from ‘souped-up’ to tweeked’ to ‘botched royally’! Oh goody!
