I am searching for sheet music for an old Welsh Lullaby called Suo Gan. It was used in the movie Empire of the Sun.

hey, that was a cool movie. I loved the song too and arranged it for brass quintet (years ago). If you can’t find it online, I can write the tune down and mail it to you.

According to Lomax, “Get Along, Little Dogies” was adapted from a Welsh lullaby, or something.

This is one of the first tunes I learned when I came to live in Wales and played it at the naming ceremony of a friends baby. We also have a fast version of it played as a jig - still called Suo Gen but definately not a lullaby then - although still going by that title! (Suo Gan means lullaby)
