I’m a bit proud of myself.

Looks darn impressive. and a lot of hard work.

You shaved. Wow!

djm

Slow growing beard eh? What’s that stuff on top o’ yer head?

You was backwards

On the very top? Lol, a shock of grey hair…I have one big patch of grey on top, just like I was dive-bombed by a pigeon. Heh.

Good for you, Greg! As usual, I go into spring needing to shed 10 pounds and wanting to shed 15.

OOoooohhhh.

Combolations!

I could stand to lose about 4 inches around the waist myself.

Good for you. Maybe some of that will rub off on some of us.

I don’t need any more pounds but I’ll take some of that stuff on top of his head 'cause all mine rubbed off.

you should write a book about how you did it so quickly, sell it and make a fortune

Well done.

Very impressive.

Slan,
D.

Ooooooh! Very nice!

You look gorgeous.

What are you doing on Valentine’s day? :poke:

Looks like two different guys! Good for you!
Not that I’m asking for medical advice  but how did you do it?

Started walking 2 miles a day.

Tracked my calories for a week or two and saw that between ruby red grapefruit juice and candy bars and chips, I was putting an extra meal a day into my body, calorie-wise. So I stopped that. It helps to look at the nutrition info on a snack (like an ice cream sandwich) and realize that the snack is nearly as many calories as a small meal. Then i go “ugh” and put it back.

Last 2 weeks have been on a slim-fast like diet, where i limit my calorie intake during the day, and have a larger meal with the family at night. I don’t strictly count calories, but I try to keep in mind about how many calories i’m putting into my body at any given day.

Started teaching a kung fu class again.

I got my bowflex in, and began strength training again. I originally used to use a soloflex and was in hecka good shape when i was younger. A torn stomach led directly to massive weight gain (around 300+ lbs)..i got a good portion of that off, but it steadily crept back on over the years.

I’m looking to get around the 220 weight and then i’ll be happy

I read somewhere that studies show that the leptin production in your legs gets shut down when you sit for long periods of time, so i get up every hour or so and find some reason to walk around the office.
