I realise this doesn’t really fit the Irish Traditional theme here but I thought I’d ask just in case. Does anyone know of anywhere I can get some sheet music of Handels Wedding March (you know, the old “here comes the bride” one) for flute?

Jessie suggested “The Salley Gardens”, which brings up an old memory. I was once asked to accompany a tenor on the classical guitar for a recital that he was participating in. The Irish tune with words by W. B. Yeats goes:
"It was down by the Salley Gardens,
My love and I did meet.
She passed the Salley Gardens,
On little snow-white feet.
She bid me take love easy,
As the leaves grow on the tree,
But I being young and foolish,
With her did not agree.
In a field by the river,
My love and I did stand,
And on my leaning shoulder,
She placed her snow-white hand;
She bid me take life easy,
As the grass grows on the weirs,
But I was young and foolish,
And now am full of tears."
I love the tune and the sentiment, but I remember it being a singular bad performance. I might add that “Salley Gardens” is also a nice piece for the beginning student of the flute - not too fast with several more-challenging second octave notes to work on.
