This is to introduce ourselves, my partner and I, and to let the whistle community know that we are jumping aboard this charming train! My potter partner, Melinda Willis and I (Kelly Keniston of KLK Beadworks) are now joining forces to create whistles with a difference - little ocarinas that can be worn as unique and charming personal ornamentation.
I don't wish to make this into a commercial, so I will just invite "whistle people" to watch our eBay site to see what we are doing(under "fimo-gal") , and when I finish our website, you can see us as we create!
Thank you for your kind attention...

But you haven’t got any up yet!
And since I know that everyone will be running the same ebay search, here’s the link:

Kelly, I do hope you come back here to read replies as I am sure you will get lots of useful input. My biggest suggestion would be to make sure the ocarinas you make are in tune. I have seen lots that are gorgeous but sound terrible. And everyone here wants their instruments to be in tune (well, nearly everyone - I did find a home for my decorative ‘whistle’ a few weeks back!).
To that end, I strongly suggest you include sound clips in your auctions where applicable. You will get much more interest that way.
Looking forward to seeing your creations,
Beth

There is one up, so far, and by this evening (it’s 12:20pm now) I will have at least three more.
I have no way of “tuning” them, but my potter partner, Melinda, will be forwarded your message and surely will take it to heart. Since she is a potter and I am a beadmaker, we have no expertise in sharing the whistle online - I don’t even have a soundcard! I will send your suggestion on, however, and post her reply here when she gets to her computer. (She’s a potter first, a computer user second!)
