To say that I’ve found a concertina player on the island who wants to play music with me!
I’m so excited to have someone else to play with. And while neither one of us are pros by any means, we have different strengths and weaknesses, so we’ll be good for each other.
And her husband is learning hammer-duclimer, and there are other people who are interested in playing music as well, and even if we all play different kinds I’ll still have the chance to vastly improve my ability to play with other folks.
And I’ll keep hiding in the corner at Portland sessions when I can, and maybe sometime know enough to play.
