Waterford pipe-makers in 1990s?

I’m helping a friend to rereed a set of drones. He doesn’t remember who made them but thinks it may have been someone in Waterford in the 1990s.

Any idea who in Waterford (city or county) would have been making pipes in the 1990s? I lived there for a year (1996-1997). There was someone making GHB in Ballybricken, but didn’t come across any uilleann pipe makers.

The drones are in blackwood and brass with artificial ivory mounts, and . One distinguishing feature is that the bass drone loop section is one long piece of heavy brass tubing. The slide section is in the “H” configuration, with a puck-style resonator.

I’ll assemble the drones and take a photo later.

PJ,
Brian Howard is the only person I can think of, outside Waterford albeit, Kilmacow I think.

Actually, Brian was gone from Kilmacow at that stage, but a photo should clear that up, I think he posts here. I cannot think of anyone in Waterford county making back then.

I had a full set made from Brian back in 1977/78 at that time from Kilmacow near Waterford in Ireland.
Now the famely is back to Shaffield.

Tom White, was a pipe maker who lived just outside Waterford, a village called New Bawn Co Wexford. Maybe it was him.
