Was that me playing, or the Ice Cream Truck?

Hi,
Today I went out to our camper, way in the
back yard, to try to “Irish-up” an Americana
Fiddle song that my “boss” wrote for a PBS
show. I added grace notes and turned the
whole note at the end of each phrase into
4 notes. It really made it sound Irish.

When I came out of the camper, a neighbor
behind the fence asked if that was me playing. She said it sounded so beautiful and thought the ICE CREAM TRUCK had gotten
some new great-sounding music!!!

SO, when someone complains about your practicing, tell them it wasn’t YOU, it was
THE ICE CREAM TRUCK!!

Just wait until people start telling you they thought you were a Game Boy (which has happened to me about 6 times).

I practice on my lunch hour with cds. My boss came running by looking for the ice cream truck. I work at a State Hospital…he was VERY upset because he thought that one had come on the grounds without permission.

Played a quick tune the other night at my buddies house while watching TV and his wife started yelling from the bedroom for the kids to stop hogging the TV and start letting daddy and his friend have control of the tube and watch what they wanted to watch. HEHEHE…
