Just a warning I was in discussions with Michal Nawara about the Cillian O’Briain chanter he has for sale currently on the facebook page Uilleann Pipes for Sale or Swap. He claimed a considerably large price for the chanter and, after checking with Cillian O’Briain, it became clear Michal had lied about the original price Cillian had sold it to him for.
He was charging around 1,150 euro more than Cillian had charged him and was lying about the original sales price. If you discuss buying with him he will set a very high price. Please check with Cillian as to the original price and do not take Michal’s word for it.
I should mention Michal bought this from Cillian last December (2025) so it has definitely not appreciated with age..
