My previous inappropriate comments has been removed.
Fredrik is a nice guy, we just started our acquaintance on a bad day.
My apologies, if you felt unwelcome. Hope to see you here again Fredrik.
Even if this is mainly an UP site I’m sure that there are people here that
would be interested in your knowledge about Swedish pipes and keyed fiddles.
Just in case anybody were too late to get the Finn’s set,
I also have a [synthetic] set of Scottish Smallpipes for sale.
The reason: started struggling with the uilleann pipes instead. Lord have mercy on my soul.
So, PM me if interested
You all better listen to Joseph, he knows what he is talking about. He is not only an accomplished piper and our discerning moderator but also one of Florida’s leading experts on contemporary urban beard styles.
And yes, it’s a very, very, very sophisticated beard.
Combined with a paperback of Nitsche, Hegel or Sartre sticking out of my back pocket it works very well on women.
Unfortunately all the ladies I taken with me home so far have only wanted to stay for tea, discuss world politics or lay on my couch and talk about their childhood. But I don’t think that has anything to do with my beard, maybe it’s the turtle necks I wear that sends out the wrong signals … any clues Peggy?
So even if I haven’t scored yet, I’m a “special friend” to quite a few and that not bad … is it?
Jay-eye, I use to have a flute clip-on beard just like yours before but I ended up with a split personality and decided to grow my own. And walking around with a flute in your month also limits communication a wee little.
First, I was aiming for something more traditional, like this:
But I guess I didn’t have the right gene pool, hair grows a lot better on my back than on my chin.
Joseph, I agree. I also think Jay-eye should be banned after that personal attack, so go ahead “hit the button”.
Jay-I, ummmm, would you like the traditional deleting or the ‘Space Age’ deleting? The latter comes with a free cinnamon roll and coffee, prior to being vaporized into millions and millions of cyber particles.
Urban? That’s a stretch for Florida . . . Tampa, Miami, and Jax come close, but everything else is just one big tourist attraction. "This way to the alligator farm . . . "

I noticed that it was short and neat and thus not likely to attract stray food bits.

Err, ah, my guess would be the resident wife-person . . .

You may have been right about that turtleneck, though. Just thinking about it makes me hot.
Edited to say that I adore the title of this thread . . . “moth-blown smallpipes” . . . brings to mind winged creatures creating music in the heat of the night, soft wings stirring the air as they beat time . . .
