Every so often somebody kills a thread stone dead with a comment that is unanswerable. One of my favourite Walden comments falls in this category.
Given his ancestry, he was the perfect person to make this remark too. I was going to comment at the time but sometimes a remark is so perfect it’s best left to speak for itself.
