I’m on the verge of aquiring one of those for myself and am particularly interested in other whistlers who might have experience driving their whistles around in the 1968 - 1976 era “autostick” beetle whistle cases…
Questions I really need help with:
How low a whistle fits in the glove box lengthwise? I’m sure my Ds will fit, but I’m worried about my A…
Does the autostick feature make it a less desireable whistle case?

if i have any other passion besides whistling, it’s my pearl white '67. not an autostick, so unfortunately i can’t comment on that..
..but you can’t go wrong with a bug, period. go for it!

I like bugs too. My wife will not allow me to have one though. Between the things she has heard and my having rolled one as a youth she is absoluetly convinced they are a hazard to my health.
So I drive a Turbo Volvo 850! 
My 18yo has a 72 Baja he made with my dh who is a former VW buff..He had his first bug when he was 14. it was a 66’. My son also has a 62 in the garage he is currently putting together..My personal favorite is a 21 window bus in white and seafoam green. Or a squareback baja’d out…
