One of my favorite sites was BBc’s virtual session. Before i had ever played with anyone i would learn of this page, but now i cannot seem to acess the page. Anyone know any information or what has happened to the site. My link might have expired, or they may have moved the site.

They’ve redesigned the BBC2 site, but the Virtual Session is still there:

Unfortunately right now it doesn’t appear to be working, though.
I hope they get it back up soon.

… but with the current inoperative status, I get to use my favorite expletive: “Piffle!”
(Hey, I said it was my favorite, not my ‘most often used’) ![]()

(edited because I really don’t pay attention)
Indubitably! (where’s that spelling dictionary?!?)

I just checked and the site is up now.

I had missed this site. I used to try to make playing along with these tunes a part of my practice time anytime I had more than just a few minutes.
Good stuff, and most of it played at a speed that is satisfying but not too far out of reach for intermediate players.

At our house, we’ve devolved into using those groans and shudders from The Simpsons. My teenage son even shrieks like Homer when something startles him or he sees his food smoking on the stove. I also like those vocal sound effects you only saw in print in old Marvel Comics- completely open to interpretation.
