I thought deadjournal didn’t need codes.
well, I dont’ have a code for either, but you can try http://www.ujournal.org which uses the same software, but doesn’t require a code, or for something a little different, http://www.diaryland.com
I just started my newest livejournal 30 minutes ago, I swear. After I get it set up I’m going to stop using this board for insanity as much as is possible and use the livejournal instead. I’ve used diaryland, blogspot, blurty, deadjournal and livejournal in the past, and livejournal is the best, bar none. If I had a code I’d give it to you but I’ve already promised them all away before I have them. 
Try to ask somebody for a code, and promise them after a week when you generate your own, you’ll give it back to them. That’s what I did 3 times.
actually, livejournal is highly annoying, as the server tends to get really slow or drop dead during even moderate traffic times. ujournal is the most reliable, though it doesn’t have as many people.
