On these grey november days I enjoy every opportunity to spend some time with friends. This afternoon I played with the local “Fanfare” for Saint Nicolas. Although his holiday is only on december 6th, he came to our village today and brought chocolate for the children. Of course the not so young musicians got some sweets as well.

I’m on the 3rd pic, in the middle, the cornetplayer wearing that nice orange jacket. The little girl playing the flute (with the yellow cap) is my 9-year-old neighbour. This was her first “public appearance” and she’s fantastic, very enthousiastic and very entertaining for the rest of the band. My husband is somewhere in the background.
