Vegas, Zion, and the Valley of Fire

Hello folks. It’s nice to be back home after 8 days in Vegas. What a return as well, the Lunasa show!!

Vegas…where to begin with Vegas. If you ever find yourself stuck in Vegas as I do twice a year, I have advice for you. Bring your whistles. Not to play in your room, but to play in some of the most beautiful places on earth!!

Zion National park in Utah is amazing, it’s a couple hours out of Vegas and well worth the drive. The rock formations are breath taking. I spent a day here walking up trails to high spots in canyon walls. Playing there is absolutly thrilling! The echo goes on and on. It’s a one of a kind place as is the Valley of Fire.

The valley of Fire I can’t even begin to explain. This is a short distance from Vegas, at the far North east end of Lake Mead, it’s like being on another planet. There are tons of formations to walk into and play. Nice echo here as well.

These places take a skilled writer to discribe, even then you have to see it for yourself.

So if you find yourself in that region with a day or two to blow, save your money, grab your whistles and go see and play in some amazing places. You have my word you won’t regret it.

BTW, I was stopped by numerous people, delighted to hear the whistle echo through the canyons. It realy sounds awsome. I showed off my Overtons with pride and talked with them. A few even showed genuine interest in picking up the whistle. It’s nice to spread the wind…I mean word.
