This year we drove up 101 through the Avenue of the Giants (the old Redwood Highway) to my in-laws’ place on the Oregon coast, then over to my parents’ home in Spokane, WA, returning home via the inland route on Highway 97 through central Oregon. Got some really beautiful scenic pics…such as this one of a sunset from my in-laws’ living room overlooking the Pacific:
There are even a couple of pics of me in there (rare, as I hate to have my photo taken), but no whistles this time (I brought them, and even played a bit at a barbecue we had for the family, but forgot to get a picture!).
