Guys, could we try to make the Subject lines a little more obvious? I see a lot of subjects like “How can I…” or “Where is…” lately, and while they may succeed in getting people curious enough to read the post, they also succeed in frustrating people that didn’t want to read about that topic, and really frustrating people who use the search feature – which presents Subject lines in the results, presumably to help one narrow down one’s search to the particular post(s) one was looking for.
Not everyone reads every post.
Thanks,
-Rich

‘suggestions for useful subject lines’ or ‘making topics easily easily understood’, or ‘clarifying your subject’ or ‘getting the message across’ etc etc.
Instead of using any of those titles or similar, you used a pretty ambiguous title that could have been read several ways. In fact, I thought that you might have been giving some information, rather than suggesting more correct use of grammar and syntax.
Just making the point that it’s not always that easy to get our point across in cold print. And, I’ve written two books.
