1st Thursday of the month: Clifton’s Pizza, Frankfort Avenue, 8:30 - 10:30 p.m. (this one’s fairly casual)
3rd Sunday of the month: Molly Malone’s Pub, Baxter Avenue, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. (this one can get somewhat serious; you’ll like it better if you’re at least intermediate-level, or a very patient beginner who doesn’t mind sitting and listening)
2nd Wednesday of the month: Browning’s Brew Pub, Slugger Field/Main Street, 6:30/7:00 p.m. - ? (this one’s just getting started, so not sure what it’s going to be like – also, I think there’ll be some Bluegrass, etc. mixed in, but then again, Bgrass does tend to break out like a rash pretty much anywhere you go 'round here.
