Got F.Morrison chanter quite nicely in tune, but low a is abit unstable(must put piece of tape on low g hole too)… quite sensetive with pressure vs pressure with other notes.
So open reed abit with pliers on the wirebridle …or ..good suggestions before it

Is it the smallpipe or border-/reelpipe chanter?
Definitely talk with the maker. These reeds and chanters are very sensitive and probably behave differently form uilleann and other reed/chanter relationships.
Don’t use the pliers. If you want to open it up use JUST your thumbs.
