Hello all,
I’m new to this forum, and have had a Daye chanter for about 3 months. I’ve been playing highland pipes and whistle for about 14 years and am excited to get to the uilleann pipes. I need to get hold of some info on making proper gracenotes. As an artist I’m a bit cash strapped and haven’t gotten Heather Clarke’s book. I have Spillane’s, but it has no gracenote info. I’ve been able to pick up a bit from recordings, but this is slower than hoped. There is a group north of me, but the car is on the fritz. So…can anybody tell me where I might find a webpage with the gracenotes properly illustrated? Thanks to anyone who can help.
Marc
Marc,
Contact me privately, there are a few copyright issues with the chart I currently have.
Dear Wally,
I tried to contact you via email. Did it ever come through?
Marc
no, it never came through. You aren’t on hotmail by chance are you? I filter all hotmail (too much spam)
Actually, I am on hotmail. I didn’t know there was that much spam involved. If you like, you can mail things to my hotmail account at marcpipes23@hotmail.com. I don’t think the spam will come back to haunt you that way.
Cheers,
Marc
the above email address didn’t work so I sent it to the “jude” addresses at hotmail and netrelated, let me know if/when you get it
I’m sorry, I really don’t know what the "jude addresses are. Can you explain?
Cheers, Marc
