I am selling two whistles as new, since they have hardly been played since receiving them. The first is a Chris Abell D in blackwood and silver for $300. Reason for selling: I am just a beginner on whistle and $300 is too much for me to invest at this time, but make no mistake - the whistle is outstanding! I am keeping my much less expensive Sindt as being almost as good sounding for much less money. I will throw in free shipping and a small bottle of almond oil, which Abell recommends to keep the instrument in good condition.
The second is an O’Briain low D. It has a beautiful tone, but my small hands cannot deal with the large finger hole/spacing issue without getting tired. Get this only if you can “handle” it! It is one-piece aluminum and I am asking $125 + $5.00 shipping for it. I bought a different maker’s one-piece low D instrument which is a bit easier on my hands.
