Ah, they are probably these, same seller. Is Williamsburg a brand or a tourist thing?

I believe they are referring to Williamsburg, VA a very tourist thing

Those are Cooperman whistles. And, unless I am way off, a Cooperman fife. New, the fife is $15 and the whistles are $4 each. Not really remarkable instruments. I have a Cooperman whistle and one of their beginner fifes. I let my 2-year-old use the whistle for a drumstick. I keep the fife in the stroller for tooting outdoors. Cooperman also makes a line of much better fifes, which I have heard are well worth the prices.
I suspect the Williamsburg connection is with Colonial Williamsburg, where a lot of these are apparently sold to tourists.

I hate to stray too far off topic, and you know, do the “it’s all about me” thing. But, I let my 2 year old son use an old soodlum for the same purpose. The other day he came walking in behind me when I was at the computer, and I heard him go “I play it? Ok.” toot! It was too cute ![]()

When I was doing the pipe & tabor thing, I used a nonfunctional Cooperman for a drumstick.
