just got mine from jerry. well, didn’t just get it, but just got around to playihg it.
i never had an untweaked shaw, so my basis of comparison has to be the closest thing i know- the clarke traditional.
i love the sound. even tweaked, at first glance, it “uses alot of air”. but after experimenting with it, you realize that it is not really using the air, you are sort of wasting it into the whistle. with a little breath control it does much better. i love the first octave. the second is a little airy but still very nice.
for the price, i think its an amazing whistle if you want a “true whistle sound” rather than a sweeter recorder like sound.
jerry, i like the sticker. how come my tweaked sweetone doesn’ t have it? is it just the invisibility against the black background? if so, when business picks up even more and you can afford a white sticker, please send me one.
