I believe this is the title to Caoimhin O Raghallaigh’s debut solo CD released a few years back. It was apparently a pretty limited release.
Anybody know where I can find a copy?
In short, no. I believe (although it’s a while since I’ve seen his cd - a friend of mine has/had a copy) that he released ?500 copies as a fund-raiser for a trip abroad, so I’d be surprised if there are still any for sale anywhere.

Caiomhin has a track on the Cumar cd released by Clo Iar Connaughta, if that makes up for the other one being unavailable.
The Tir na nOg cd was by the way recorded in one go when Caoimhin was seventeen, he sat in the stairwell of ITMA and got it down in one go. He takes his time, one of the slow air takes about ten minutes. I’ve known him since he was 13 or 14 and he’s disgustingly brilliant. On both pipes and fiddle. And flute or anything else.
There is one brilliant track of Kevin playing on the “Cumar” CD (Clo Iar-Chonnachta label), which alone is worth buying that CD for, plus you get a lot of other excellent live performances by instrumentalists and sean-nos singers.
What a wonderful musician. And he seems like quite a character as well; on an RTE show a whlie back he dedicated a set of tunes to his two hens.
He was interviewed for one program recently he was asked about what he thought of John Kelly’s fiddleplaying he replied ‘I aspire to have a hairstyle like his’. They didn’t broadcast that by the way.
Well, at least he didn’t say that about Joe Ryan.
Didn’t realize that Caoimhin was on the Cumar CD as well. I’ve been meaning to pick that one up for a while so now I’ve got one more good reason.
