Well, I’m not sure…
…but I think it’s an advertising jingle. All I know is that when I was about 7 years old my 11 year old brother taught me some alternate words to it, which at the time seemed hilarious and now are only good for reminiscing. The alternate words made fun of the cleaning solvent called Comet. I think the original words may have been for a food product but I’m not certain.
I don’t know of any commodore 64 games that used it. I know my brother and I would have fallen down laughing if we had run across one.

Somewhere on the game, you can hear a bit of me playing whistle! I’m not a big gamer, but about 2 yrs ago I came across a newsgroup posting which was looking for Celtic flute or whistle players. Now I’m waiting for the huge royalties to come pouring in
