when a whistle is tuneable does that mean that it can be adjusted to play in a different key or does it mean that you can just make it a slightly different pitch. For example if I bought a tuneable D whistle could I tune it to be E flat or something?
Minor adjustment
You can adjust the tuning of your (tunable) whistle to other instruments, if you’re playing in a group. That’s the reason why they make tunable whistles. If you tried to make your D-whistle play in C# or in Eb, the intrinsic tuning of your whistle would be wrong.
