We could do with a constructive way of dealing with them. How about
when we get their postings to just post "Troll" and move on. Not giving them the satisfaction of trolling.

No, only a few hours so far. It came up about 6 hours ago while I was busy posting messages to another thread at about 5:00pm Brisbane time. I’d say the moderators are still in bed if they’re in America.

I understand trolls as being strange looking creatures that live in tree hollows and have good tin whistles worth stealing.

A Troll is the name for a person who deliberatly says outrageous and insulting things on a forum to wind other users up, then sits back and feels that his/her life has really been productive.
I’m thinking this same guy that trolls around here might also be the guy who recently swiped a couple of our (Ben and mine’s) eBay items to resell. If, for instance, he worked at a library, had access to publicly used computers, was single, lonely, and felt ignored, and revengeful for some irrational reason, thought he was pretty smart (but no one else thought that) yet was a failure, he might do this type of thing from time to time.
I can only think of a couple dudes here that might fit. ooops, sorry!

Nope. I don’t have a Roberts set anymore. Might try Richard Katz of the SFPC. Drones were great. Regs okay with minor tweaking. Small-medium bore chanter was not my style. Quality work though on the stocks, bellows, and bag. How’s the weather?
