hi everyone, i’m pleased to announce that, with the help of my father-in-law, the PVC Low D has been created! 
now i am, of course, struggling with acquiring the piper’s grip. anyone have any suggestions? i have thought that it might be easier to “ease into it” by making another low whistle that isn’t quite as low (and whose holes aren’t so big that your whole hand practically fits into them. LOL, j/k). a Low A, perhaps? is this the smallest whistle that people commonly use a piper’s grip with? or maybe i’m just a wimp with small hands, who should suck it up?
BTW, is there a name for this variant of WhOA in which you tend to make whistles instead of buying them?
