Now you might be lookin’ for something too specific for a small place
like Ireland. Total population of the entire country is less than one fifth
that of the greater NY area,

That said here is a list of the various venues in and around Limerick
where you can pick up some trad sessions. You have to check near
the date as to what might be on - on the night - sometimes that might
not be known till the night itself. Have fun.

Dolan’s is the best place for sessions in Limerick. Have a look at:

You might also want to call in at Nancy Blake’s on Denmark Street on Wednesday evening for a quieter tune or Saturday for a noisier one. I used to go there on Monday nights mostly.

Also, it’s not such a long way from Limerick to Ennis either. Plenty of sessions to choose from, any night of the week.
