He plays that one pretty slow already, doesn’t he? (I only have the version on his “Whistling Ambassador” CD).
I presume you’re after his ornamentation, since the basic tune is pretty much the one I got from my Walton’s “Ireland’s 101 Best Tinwhistle Tunes” book. If so, please post it if you ever get it notated - though I’m trying to learn that one by ear, I’m not too purist enough to avoid the sheet music. ![]()

Yes he does. Its my ears that are the main problem and perhaps the fact that my Eb whistle isn’t very good. I guess the slow downer could put it in D for me though. The ornaments are tricky.

micho didn’t use extremely intricate ornamentation, my gues is you’ll find similar things in the tunes already transcribed on the site above.
