Traditional Irish Musicians in Nashville

I’m trying to help out a friend of a friend who learning to play the whistle. This young guy lives in the Nashville area and would like to find other musicans to learn from. I have it on good authority that he is already very good but needs to get “plugged-in” to a irish scene.

Anyone out there know somebody in Nashville?

Tell him to go to Davis Kidd bookstore on the second Saturday of any month at around 7PM (the hallway outside the cafe) and he’ll find a community of people playing Irish traditional music.
