Since the topic came up, I have been curious about Reyburns. I saw on the site that some are plastic headed and some are maple. Are the high whistles maple, or is plastic the only option?
AFAIK, the low whistles have mape heads and the high whistles have delrin heads. I have a C/D set of the “LB” (== less breathy?) model, and they’re very good. Almost as good as a good Generation. 
Are you looking for a really breathy one? I’ll trade for a less breathy one if that’s what’s going on. I think mine is about a year or so old. brass w/ delrin? head.
