I posted about this a few days ago… forgive the repost. 
I’m trying to find songs that have to deal with the Celtic people’s strong relationship with the land and that perhaps have to do with the weather… For example:
Pan Gyfyd yr Heulwen
When Morning is Breaking

Its the call of sea and shore; its the tang of bog and peat,
And the scent of briar and Myrtle that puts magic in our feet.
So its on we go rejoicing, over bracken over stile,
and its soon we will be tramping out the last long mile.
