I quick-scanned the original post before the poster totally deleted it, and this is my rough recollection of the gist, which I had assumed was totally tongue-in-cheek and designed to try & have a little fun..
The patter: Recent Wall Street declines may have put “Tooters” out of business, a whistle emporium which Dale Wiseley allegedly opened as part of the epic growth saga of C&F. The Poster went on to suggest that all newbies might want to check out the old threads to provide some sense of C&F nostalgia.
After reading my own post a few times I felt
it was a waste of space so deleted the thing.
The gist of “Tooters” was reminiscing back a year ago when Dale indicated 3Fish Productions might buy K-Mart. My suggestion of Tooters as the name of the warehouse- sized whistle outlet was adopted. Subsequently, chiffers started submitting floorplan schematics, pictures of whistle vending machines, nominations of “Andrea” as an officer in the enterprise and many other wild and crazy suggestions. Figured
the whole scenario wouldn’t be relevant to the many newbies we have now…so gave it the ax. The subject of “3Fish Productions may buy K-Mart” in a “Tooters” search will
retrieve the fun we had with this thread…

Stan, you’re setting a bad precedent. I’d be deleting half my posts, if that sort of thing caught on.
