Tommy

Last night I had the real treat of seeing this - I’d forgotten just how good it is, and this production was amazing. (Seeing as how I was seated all of three feet from the performers it was really, really amazing)

It had been several years since I’d been to the Barter and I now vow to go more often.

Who?

do try to stay awake

Sorry, I can’t hear you, feel you, see you, cheer you. How on earth do you expect me to get the music, get the heat, climb the mountain, get excitement?

And what is that stuff on your feet, anyway?

djm

tenny runners?

The Barter??
We drove through Abingdon last summer and saw all the new stuff–park, parking, and whatnot they’ve added. Nice place.

The only time I’ve seen a production there, though, was when I was about 10 and staying at my grandmother’s in Tazewell. The show was Arsenic and Old Lace. Very good as I recall.

heinz baked beans , of course! :stuck_out_tongue:

Well, that’s certainly something to gain excitement at. :astonished:

only if Anne-Margaret, well.. I’ll let someone else finish that thought…

Do you mean Ann Margaret? Whoa! She was a major Swedish babe!

 I saw that production too with my high school senior class.

Tommy was on the Barter II stage, which I prefer to the main stage because the “stage” is the floor with stadium seating around. That’s why, with front row center seats, we were sitting sometimes less than three feet from the performers.
