Woohoooo again! Yes it works! Here it is, with the second note just corrected, and a very minor change (hehe, actually, it is a minor change, producing an e minor arpeggio) at the start of the second line. Alan, what do you think of that change? We can go back to what you had if you prefer, of course. I really like the little whipping feeling in part B, and that fall from C natural to A. And that part where dad gets the real nice necktie.

My SO was borne on June 15th: guess who stole the show? :roll:
Anyway, I didn’t get a hand-painted necktie.
I got a necktie cut out of paper.
Cool paper too: glossy electric blue with golden shooting stars. Real gold ink, like metallized.
I guess I’ll wear it next time I’m required to dress as a penguin.
