Arbo, the flute sounds great in your able hands. As Arbo mentioned, this flute has a Cnat thumb hole which he has taped over. I have just started to break down all of my three-piece flutes for shipment to try to avoid the type of postal damage to the joint that sometimes results from shipping the flute assembled in a long box. I should also mention that this flute is one I made some time ago from what I was calling speckled-bore pvc. It is a hard pvc, and it has a strong tone. Unfortunately, I am out of this pipe.
Actually, I’ve never had a bit of difficulty with any of those triangular shipping boxes you’ve used, Doug, as everything has arrived in fine shape.
And hey, I have one of those speckled-bore Tipple D Flutes, and I might even consider the first $100,000 offer for it, too.
