I’ve been speaking to Brian and Dorothy Howard about their, summer tionol in Cumbria (UK) starting on the 12th of July. Cost £250 full board There’s still a place available if anyone wants a week of piping reed making and eating good food. It’s a wonderful place for a holiday with or without piping. The original idea was to have a large summer school with pipes,harp, whistle and fiddle BUT due to the economic crisis
a lot of our overseas students had to cancel. We had the chance to do this smaller Tionol and I know it will be enjoyable.The pipe tutor is Aaron Hagan from Belfast.
