tin whistle for romantic tune

I like to play music with soft and slow tune, such as classical and romantic music. Which kind of Tin Whistle Key (C, D, Eb or …) is the best for that kind of music? Thanks.

To me, most soft and slow tunes sound best played on a low whistle.
I’d suggest a low G if you’re new to playing whistles, because low whistles can be quite intimidating at first.
The king of the low whistles is the low D, but it’s best to work your way down to it rather than just grabbing the bull by the horns… trust me, it will eliminate a lot of frustration and discomfort if you take a gradual aproach to low whistles.
Of course there are many lovely airs that sound fantastic on a D, C or Bb… my low whistle suggestion is nothing more than a matter of my own personal preference.
Check out the Slow](http://nwparalegalcom.readyhosting.com/clipssnip/slowairs.html%3ESlow) Airs section of the Clips & Snips tune archive for some fine examples on a variety of whistles and decide what sounds best to you.
