Time Travel

Hi, I just got back from an 11-hour trip to the Dark Ages, and boy are my arms tired.

It were six days fer us. Thank goodness I had that generator that didn’t work. Even the Verizon FIOS went down, literally.

Always a thrill. Glad you’re back.
Our latest adventure is into Waterworld. I’m watching the cats carefully for incipient gills.

Hope no major damage happened due to the infrastructure failure.
How long does the power have to be out before milk goes bad?

Doesn’t it just turn into yogurt?

Has anybody mentioned that you are not giving an impression of the U.S.A. as a comfortable place to live?

We still have something coming here in the East, how do you solve a problem like Maria?

One thing I’ve been puzzling over … and it really is a worry … what was powering the time machine? Obviously not electricity, or it wouldn’t have worked. Was it nuclear of some sort? 'Cos, if it was, couldn’t you have just hooked it up in some way to provide some local power instead of using it for time travel? And gasoline, steam etc only work in film franchises don’t they?

Maybe it was cheese? I’ve got a lump at the back of the fridge that has clearly travelled back in time (or is it forward? or both?).

It’s a puzzle …

y’all don’t understand California time travel…

If ya turn out the lights in can be hours before they get back. :smiling_imp:

I keep picturing a thyme plant driving a pickup truck.
Searched google images for thyme travel and all I could find was this thyme covered path.

Thyme being what it is, do you think those might be the actual flagstones of memory?

Only in a Broderick strapolation.

Oh dear. I’ve just looked up the word “strapolation”. I had no idea …

No kidding, “Oh dear.” I just looked it up too, because you did. I PROMISE I only back-formed the word all on my own for the sake of everyone’s general pun-ishment. But now what gritty notions have I unleashed, unawares? As they say, “Eeew.” :boggle:

Urban Dictionary’ll get you every time. :smiling_imp:

Thyme is so vulgar, thank goodness one can get a thymectomy to take care of it.
