ICYMI: Chuck Tilbury is retiring from making whistles. In addition to instruments he’s been selling on the UIE, he’s offering the domain and tools he’s been using for making Tilbury Woodwinds. Might be a good opportunity for an aspiring whistlesmith to get a head start in the craft/biz.
I just got my first Tilbury in today and it is easily now one of my new favorites (Bb). I’m happy if he gets to truly retire, but still a bit sad that it is the end of an era for him. I wish him good fortune and sunshine!
