In the next few weeks, I will have three hard cover whistle cases for sale. These cases are made from fiber board, covered in a leatherette material. They have hinged covers, and the lids are lined in a red nylon material. The cases began their lives as pool cue cases. I have placed closed-cell foam in the bottoms, cut to the sizes of the whistles I have stored in each case. These pieces of foam can be removed, and others placed in them, cut to the sizes of your particular whistles.
The current foam is cut for the following instruments:
Case 1 - 4 whistles: Burke standard bore D, C, A, G
Case 2 - 4 whistles: Burke narrow bore D, standard bore D, C, Bb
Case 3 - 2 whistles: Burke low D Viper, narrow bore D
These cases have served me very well. I am having a custom case made to contain all the whistles, so I would like these cases to go to a good home. Please note that I do not make the insides of whistle cases for a living…I cut the foam the best I was able, using an industrial razor. Some of the cuts are not precisely straight, but overall, the cases do the job of protecting valuable whistles, just fine…Price of each case is $35, shipped to anywhere in the USA…
