Three piece Copeland low D for sale on E-bay

I put it the other day. Check it out it is a great whistle.

Hey Josh,

That’s the first 3 piece Copeland low-D I’ve seen… is that how he’s making them these days? Mine is much older, only two piece…

Cheers,

Michael

Thanks for telling…

But, willy-nilly, this happens to be an international board, or with such an audience, and even hosted in Canada. I mention this only because you probably haven’t had the time to notice.

You don’t send outside US of A. Next time, please title the thread accordingly, so we make sure not to read it, nor to click the link.

Ringards

Michael…

He’s making them both ways now. The 3-piece is great as it obviously breaks down smaller… Easier to take with you on trips!

That’s an unreasonable request, I think. I’d prefer that people who are selling things NOT put “WON’T SHIP OUTSIDE THE USA” in the thread title. I’d rather people be inconvenienced a bit by having to break a sweat by clicking on the thread than have that kind of clutter.

Hey eskin

yea it is a cool idea and it is very useful. He has been making them this way for a little bit. It cost more but it is definitly worth the money. Hope everything is going well on your side of the map. As far as the request to title the thread more to your liking I hope your joking and not as lazy and stuck up as you sound.

I would suggest that the poster at least put something as important as a major shipping limitation in the message linking to ebay (ie. in the first post in this thread), so all us non-USAers don’t have to go through the bother - assuming we’re interested in buying the whistle - of going to ebay looking for the small print. I think it’s slightly impolite to post a thread that is by definition irrelevant to a large part of the C&F community, without at least highlighting the fact that it is so - since in this case it isn’t obvious.

Cheers,
Jens

  1. Ah, you ain’t talking any more to eskin, but to me, I gather. It does take time to figure it out. So, ok, you’re asking for it…
  2. Joking? always, when talking seriously.
  3. Stuck up? No scoop–everyone around knows I am, but doesn’t mention it, or not in such terms. The first post wasn’t much courteous to non-Americans generally, while the second is borderline where I’m personnally concerned. My concern is you still can’t grasp why some non-Americans (I’m not alone, and not even alone voicing it publicly) would be crossed by your restriction on shipment. I may be “stuck up”, or acting as if, but I could easily confuse you with thick as a brick if I hadn’t a spelling checker.
  4. Lazy? Who is? Too lazy as in lazy to check out what’s the cost of shipment outside US? or too lazy to find out whether their US dollars are the same green or not? Your loss: retailers, manufacturers, and most here people do send goods outside US. Now count your bids as of today 11:56 GMT (that’s in Europe)…

However, no hard feelings: your post allowed me to learn I could get the same item new, no waiting, in either brass or sterling silver, from http://www.whistleanddrum.com/Copeland%20Irish%20Tin%20Whistle.html. I see it’s even on sale. For this, I thank you in earnest.

Yeah…limited delivery is a bit harsh… how about cancel the whole thing and open up another, this time with “Will ship internationally” flag raised high and clear so anyone can see it.

due tp my best friend Zubivka advice  I changed my shipping to world wide. Frankly I didn’t even know that I had put a cap on the world wide shipping. Thanks for the sale price on that whistle Zub but mine happens to be a Low D three piece. Thanks again for you insight.

You have know idea how much that hurt to write. :tantrum:

Well, you did, proof you’re a person worth meeting–so, bravo!
Also, don’t thank me: Tak had it right, while I was only naggin’. You could eventually thank me when it goes abroad!

Now, lease do elaborate on this little-known model. How does that third section hold? Grease, no grease, loose, tight fit?

Best

To those who think this thread breaks board’s policy by its numerous bumps, please note most the replies are about a feature rarely mentioned on this board, and hardly reviewed, if ever.

It holds rather tight and it does this with no grease or other such aids just a tight fit. A simple idea that is absolutly brilliant. :astonished:
