Loren,
My post was directed at the original poster who I guess is most likely yourself and not Jessie who I mistakenly attributed.I can see how this was taken as an insult and do apologise to the both (or three of you, A.Lee. included)for the missunderstanding.Peace,Mike
I realize this is probably off topic for this particular thread, but as a mostly lurker and occasional commenter, I realize I have been too reticent, and I would like to say the following:
I hereby extend my appreciation to all those knowledgable Board veterans and newbies, past and present, who have kept me informed, educated, and entertained. Thank you! If only I could afford all those wonderful whistles of which you write! I also appreciate those of you who share your experiences and feelings (whether good, funny, or painful) with the community. Just as music doesn’t have to be load to be beautiful, you don’t have to be a “whistle master” to have something meaningful to say. And surely a community can have room for more than technical discussion!
I also feel that being a member of a “community” of whistle lovers has certain rights and responsibilities… including helping those that might need help and forgiving members that might be ignorant or less than tactful on any given day. I think there’s plenty of room for everyone on this board…
