Rich upgraded the software. Spiffy, ain’t it?
Very spiffy.
Oooooh! Colored fonts. Cool!
But I don’t think my favorite color, yellow, is going to show up well on this background. Mmmmmmmm. ![]()
Colored fonts?! How on Earth did I miss that? What fun!! Another reason to love the nifty new board… ![]()
It’s the little things that make me happy,
Andrea
Edited to add: Okay, so why isn’t the color showing? I’m totally bummed… Someone want to tell me what I did wrong? ![]()
You forgot to place your text between the little color text things. Kind of like how when you quote someone the quote shows up on the post reply part as being between two little quote things. The color ones look something like ~place text here~ except without the *'s. Hope that helps!

Aha! I see what you mean… Thanks for the help! Now I can go live in technicolor happiness!! ![]()
All the best,
Andrea
Ok-I’m just trying to figure out whether or not my technologically challenged self can figure out how to do colour and smilies!!

Arg!!What am I doing wrong to not get coloured text?
Janice-A click of the mouse on the “Font Colour:” chooser displayed above top of the text box when posting will show a list of text color choices. It says
“Default” until its clicked on, and its next to the “Font Size:” chooser.
1-click on the color you want
2-it will then appear in the first of two code boxes on your text field. The first code box begins and the second one ends the color assignment. The text you wish to color must lie between the two code boxes. The boxes vanish when a post is previewed or submitted, leaving only colored text.
This makes it possible to color paragraphs, sentences, words and probably
individual letters to your choice.
This is very spiffy! ![]()
